Job description

Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to fill a full-time role in Newbury. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of young people’s early intervention care practices within the NHS.
 
In this NHS role, you will work in a Children and Young Person’s Psychosis Service in a multi-disciplinary team consisting of care coordinators, psychologists, and pharmacists. You will need to conduct assessments, manage medication and provide high-quality treatment and interventions. You will have a high level of responsibility, completing assessments for the service user’s needs, monitoring and evaluating so you must show you are a clear role model.  
 
This role is Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00.
 
The pay rate for this Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella), a 4-month contract initially, due to start ASAP.
 
 Requirements of this Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner vacancy:
  • All applications must be registered mental health nurses with Valid NMC pin. 
  • You must have previous experience within EIP
  • You must have previous experience working with children and young people
