Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to fill a full-time role in the Memory Service, based in Dagenham, Essex. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge and skills as a Community Psychiatric Nurse.
The team’s request is for an experienced Mental Health Practitioner who is able to complete initial assessments, duty screening and generally supporting clients and carers
To be considered you must have experience of working with older adults with mental health problems including dementia. A good knowledge of dementia and its impact on the client and their carers if possible.
This role will be full time, working Monday to Friday, 09:00- 17:00
The pay rate for this Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner is £24.00 per hour (Umbrella), due to start in January 2021

- You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC Pin
- You must have experience as a CPN
- You must have experience working with older adults with mental health problems including dementia
- You must be able to manage your own wide caseload
