Job description

Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for Band 6 RMN’s to fill a full-time role in the Mental Health Team based in Norwich. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of working with Mental Health Services.


We are looking for a Band 6 RMN’s to work for at least 3 months in Norwich working with the Mental Health Service.


The pay rate for this Band 6 RMN’s role is up to £24 (umbrella rate) and is due to start as soon as possible.


We have a placement for a Band 6 RMN with MH experience working within the Crisis Assessment and Intensive Support Team (CAIST) for under 18's


Start date - ASAP

Working Hours - Hours available between 9am-8pm 7 days a week, can be flexible.

Location - Across Norfolk and Waveney, base will be 80 St Stephens, Norwich.


Looking for Band 6 Professionally qualified and registered Nurse.


Day to day duties:

  • Responding to referrals for urgent and emergency assessment for young people, this will usually be within an acute hospital setting but may be in the community. 
  • Making onward referrals to other teams or raising safeguarding concerns with children services when appropriate.
  • Formulating a collaborative care plan to support the young person at home with parents and carers involvement.
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working with young people under the age of 18's.
  • Experience of completing urgent or emergency mental health assessments, risk assessment and care plans for young people
  • Understand multiagency working and safeguarding processes.
  • Be confident to work in acute general hospital settings and lone working at times.
  • Be able to drive and attend any of the acute hospitals within Norfolk and Waveney area, travel costs can be reimbursed.
