Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse or Qualified Social Worker to fill a full-time role in the Children’s Eating Disorders Service based across Norfolk.
 
We are seeking qualified staff (Nursing or Social Work) to support this children’s eating disorder service as it experiences increased demand in recent months and staff absences.
 
Experience with either children or eating disorders is preferable to be able to provide roles including new assessment/monitoring sessions/physical health monitoring/case management/psychological intervention.
 
The team are a community ED service for children across Norfolk and Waveney. The team provide specialist assessment, treatment and support and work to provide therapeutic and caring support to children.  We have community bases in Norwich, Kings Lynn and Great Yarmouth. Current need is in Norwich and kings Lynn and remote working is available.  You would be supported by skilled and experienced teams seeking support to help ensure children can be supported and assessed and treated safely during a risk in demand.
 
This role will be Monday to Friday, 09:00- 17:00.
 
The pay rate for this Band 6 Registered Mental Health Practitioner is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella), due to start in October 2020.
 
Requirements of this Band 6 Registered Mental Health Practitioner vacancy:
  • You must be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin or a Qualified Social Worker with SWE registration
  • You must have experience within eating disorders, ideally with children
  • You must be a car driver with your own transport, although most of the role will be remote under the current climate.
