Maxxima's nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to fill a full-time role in Stowmarket. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of Mental Health and practices within the NHS.

The team are happy to accept applications from registered Mental Health Nurses or Qualified Social Workers.

It is essential in this role that you have a clear understanding of the Care Programme Approach and are able to work within a multidisciplinary team. You will need to work together with service users, families and carers and in some cases education and housing providers for developing care plans that promote recovery, social inclusion, community participation and independence. There is also an expectation that the successful candidate will promote physical health needs of individuals with psycho education and provide therapeutic interventions. The youth pathway is a dynamic and supportive team where there is a commitment to regular supervision, training and value-based appraisals.

This role is full time working Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella), 6-month contract initially, due to start ASAP.

Requirements of this Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner vacancy:
* All applications must be a registered mental health nurse with Valid NMC pin or Qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration.
* Must have experience working in a mental health setting.
* Must have similar service experience.
* You must have a general knowledge and interest in mental health.
* You must have a driving license and access to a car.
