Maxxima are searching for an experienced* Band 6 Occupational Therapist for a full-time locum role with our client in Birmingham. You will be joining an MDT providing interventions and treatment to patients recently diagnosed with a stroke in a range of community settings, using highly developed specialist practice underpinned by theoretical knowledge.

Other responsibilities will include:

*Being a specialist resource of information for health and social care staff, patients, families, carers and external agencies who may require advice and support and guidance in the management of stroke.
*Transferring individual patients' on-going care to other agencies as appropriate and ensure that the service provided is conducted in a professional, efficient and effective way.
*Meeting the service specification objectives and key performance indicators as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing a high quality service.

We are looking for someone to begin ASAP for an initial three-month contract. Ideally, you will be available to work full-time hours Monday-Friday, but part-time will be considered. The starting pay rate for this position is £22-£25 per hour (umbrella equivalent).
