Maxxima are currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to fill a community role in Southwark. The successful candidate will be working for a community rehab team, visiting patients at their homes in the community and treating patients in the community hospital. The role will require you to carry out initial assessments, observations, set goals, provide a rehab plan, and complete discharge planning.

The team will consider full time and part time hours. The end date is TBC but it will potentially be a long term placement.

The pay rate for this Occupational Therapy role is dependent on experience and banding.

Requirements of this OT vacancy:
  • Experienced locum Occupational Therapist to work in Southwark
  • Community Rehab Hospital
  • Frail elderly rehab/complex discharge-planning
  • Fast-paced environment (A&E experience useful)
  • Equipment knowledge and provision (Millbrook pin desirable)
  • Access Visits to patients homes (must be a driver/ provide license – we have a pool car)
  • Strong IT and communication skills
