Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 or 7 CAMHS Practitioner/Registered Mental Health Nurse to fill a job role in Scunthorpe. The candidate will be required to work within a Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).

Our NHS Client are looking for a CAMHS Practitioner/Mental Health Nurse to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm). The pay rate of this role is at £23-£28 per hour (umbrella rate, depending on banding), and the role will initially be a three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.

Requirements and details of this CAMHS/RMN vacancy:
• We are looking for candidates who have a significant understanding of mental health practices within the NHS.
• The candidate must be registered with the NMC.
• Previous CAMHS experience is desirable, but any relevant experience of working with children and families' emotional and social wellbeing can be considered.
• Candidates should be car drivers with access to their own vehicle with business insurance, as this role is community based.
• Candidates should have CAMHS experience and the ability and experience to work with young people and their families who are experiencing a wide variety of mental health disorders/illnesses or difficulties that are impacting on their life.
• The clinician will also need the ability to assess and develop appropriate Risk Management Plans for young people that present in a Mental Health Crisis in and out of hours.
