Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Learning Disability Nurse to join the Children’s Learning Disabilities service based in Lancaster.
Working as part of this friendly Children’s Learning Disability & Autism team (covering Lancaster & Morecambe), you will be based primary at home with the team base being in Lancaster.
This is a part time position working 2 – 4 days a week a week to suit.
The pay rate for this Band 6 Learning Disability Nurse vacancy is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella), due to start in October 2020.
Requirements of this Band 6 Learning Disability Nurse vacancy:
  • You must be a Registered Learning Disability Nurse with a valid NMC Pin – RNLD
  • Evidence of substantial experience in working children with a learning disability either in a community or residential setting.
  • Advanced and developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experienced in caseload management.
  • The ability to assess, analyse and interpret complex situations and react accordingly.
