Maxxima's nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner to fill a full-time role in Chelmsford. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of perinatal mental health nursing practices within the NHS.
In this NHS role you will work as a member of the Perinatal Mental Health Service, you will need to manage a defined caseload of service users experiencing moderate to severe perinatal mental health problems and those with pre-existing severe mental health diagnoses to reduce perinatal risk and maintain stability in this vulnerable period for women's mental health. You will offer a variety of therapeutic interventions including supportive therapy, psychosocial interventions, specialist medication advice and problem-solving techniques and you will be expected to offer both support and advice to family members and carers.
This role is Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, 37.5 hours a week.
The pay rate for this Band 6 Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella), 3-month contract initially, due to start ASAP.
Requirements of this Band 6 Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner vacancy:
