Job description

Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner to fill a full-time role in Oxford. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of Women’s Mental Health and the practices within the NHS.
 
In this NHS role, you will undertake comprehensive mental health assessments, manage a complex caseload of service users, provide practical advice and support including family work, psychological interventions and overseeing any safeguarding issues both adult and child protection. You must throughout promote safeguarding and the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
 
This role is Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, 37.5 hours a week, part time may be considered for the right candidate.
 
The pay rate for this Band 6 Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner is £25.00 per hour (Umbrella), a 3-month contract initially, due to start ASAP.
 
Requirements of this Band 6 Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner vacancy:
 
  • All applications must be registered mental health nurses with Valid NMC pin.
  • Must have experience working in a perinatal mental health setting.
  • Must have similar service experiences.
  • You must have general knowledge and interest in mental health.
  • You must be a car driver.
