The Pharmacy team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Pharmacy technician in Reading. The successful Phamacy technician will be working full-time hours across Monday to Friday. We are looking for a pharmacy tecchnician with previous experience.
Position: Pharmacy Technician 
Banding: 6
Location: Reading
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Duration: Ongoing contract
Typical duties include:

• Providing safe and effective pharmacy services
• Supplying medicines and medical devices to patients, whether on prescription or over the counter and providing information on symptoms and products
• Achieving the best outcomes through a patient’s medicines
• Assembling and accuracy checking medicines for prescriptions
• Providing information to patients, carers and other members of the healthcare team
• Managing areas of medicines supply such as dispensaries
• Supervising other pharmacy staff

Essential skills:

• GPHC Registered
• Clinical Experience 
• Relevent UK experience
