Locum Band 6 Physiotherapist - Cardiac Rehab
Location: Leeds
Job Type: Temporary/Part-Time (22.5 hours)
Job Starts: ASAP
Maxxima are currently recruiting for an experienced physiotherapist to fill a locum role with the cardiac rehab service in Leeds. The contract is for up to 10 months and we're looking for someone to work 22.5 hours p/w
The service covers two main areas of care: management of heart failure and cardiac rehabilitation and the team consists of cardiac nurse specialists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and healthcare support workers. The service is provided at home (if the patient is housebound) or in a clinic. The number of contacts offered is based on a patient's individual needs. As travel is required the suitable candidate must be a car driver with access to their own vehicle for work purposes.

- Cardiac Physio Activity assessments
- Follow up calls
- Home visits
- CAP development work
Requirements of this Physiotherapist vacancy
- A degree (or equivalent) e.g. BSc, MSc or Diploma entry level qualification in physiotherapy
- HCPC registered
- Experience in a relevant area at band 6 level (cardiac rehab or community)
- Car driver
