Maxxima's nursing team are current recruiting for a Band 6 Psychiatric Liaison RMN to fill a full-time role in Redhill, East Surrey. The ideal candidates will have a significant understanding of mental health liaison practices within the NHS.

This Band 6 Psychiatric Liaison RMN role will require you to complete psycho social assessment for all patients referred to A&E services. You will use your experience to clinically prioritise when working under pressure. You will need to provide support, advice, teaching and liaison of patient care for patients who are experiencing mental health problems. The Liaison Psychiatric Service provides full mental health assessments and risk assessments, including referrals to other services to create discharge plans for referred patients aged 16 years to end of life.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Psychiatric Liaison RMN is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 3-month contract due to start as soon as possible. The role is rota based, covering 7 days a week.


Requirements of this Band 6 Psychiatric Liaison RMN vacancy:
- All applicants must have an updated NMC Registration
- All applicants must have previous NHS experience as a Mental Health Nurse
- All applicants will ideally have previous experience in a similar role
