Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse to fill a full-time role in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of mental health within the NHS.

In this NHS role you will ensure young people receive appropriate assessment, intervention and treatment with minimal avoidable delays, whilst improving the quality and experience of care.

In order to be considered for this role you must exercise clinical expertise and decision making in clinical care whilst working as a CAMHS crisis practitioner with the CAMHS CRHT service. To plan and deliver intensive home based treatment in order to prevent avoidable admission of young people experiencing mental health crisis or high levels of emotional distress.

This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week. Expectation for workers to work shifts covering the 24/7 pattern.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse is £23.00, due to start asap over a 3 month period.

Requirements of this Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse vacancy:
  • Must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
  • All applications must have a valid NMC pin.
  • Must have experience working with CAMHS or acute mental health.
  • Must have experience in crisis teams or liaison
  • Must have professional degree in Mental health nursing or AHP
