Maxxima's Nursing Team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse to fill a full-time role in Bournemouth. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of liaison and crisis work.
In this NHS role, you will require experience in either Liaison Psychiatry or Crisis Work and be able to lone work at night. You must be competent in providing high risk assessments for patients who have mental health problems and who are in a crisis. You will need to see patients in the Emergency Department and other wards. You will need to work unsupervised with the patients in an acute mental health crisis and who are at risk of self-harm and suicide. You will also need to make plans for the patient's safe discharge to the community from the emergency department.
This role is scheduled for 3 to 4 nights per week.
The pay rate for this Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse Liaison is £35.00 per hour (Umbrella). This will be a 3-month contract and a start date of ASAP.
Requirements of this Band 6 Registered Mental health Nurse Liaison vacancy:
* All applications must be a registered mental health nurse with Valid NMC pin.
* All applicants must have experience undertaking assessments and providing treatment
* Must have experience of lone working.
* Must have previous experience of working in a crisis resolution/home treatment team in the community
