Job description

Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for Band 6 RMN’s to fill a full-time role in the Mental Health Team based in Oxfordshire. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of working with Mental Health Services.


We are looking for a Band 6 RMN’s to work for at least 3 months in Wallingford or Abingdon working with the Mental Health Service.


The pay rate for this Band 6 RMN’s role is up to £24 (umbrella rate) and is due to start as soon as possible.


The Older Adults Community Mental Health Team based at Abingdon Hospital or Wallingford Hospital are looking for a Band 6 Care Coordinator for a contract of at least 3 months and likely to be extended. Applications are welcomed from RMNS, Social Workers and OTs, we are looking for a full time person but part time applicants will also be considered.

Hours of work are Monday-Friday 9-5 (could be 4 longer days)
Minimal WFH as this is mainly a face to face role.

The role covers South Oxfordshire and the following skills will be required:
Care of Older adults with mental health needs both functional and dementia.
Assessment of mental health needs, care planning with psychosocial interventions and medication.
Care Coordination.
Car driver essential with access to own vehicle
Community experience, experience in Older adult mental health is preferred but experienced clinicians with an interest in older adults will be considered.
