Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for Band 6 Rough Sleeping Mental Health Practitioner to fill a full-time role in North West London. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of mental health practices with rough sleeping service users.
In this new NHS team, your role will be to work with a service that provides support to individuals who are 18 and over and who are street homeless. You will be working in partnership with the band 7 lead, carrying out mental health assessments with a small caseload as well as working alongside partnership agencies.
The pay rate for this Band 6 Rough Sleeping Mental Health Practitioner is £24.00 per hour (Umbrella), working Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, and is a 1 month initially contract (likely to be extended) to start ASAP.

Requirements of this Band 6 Rough Sleeping Mental Health Practitioner role
- Valid registration as a Mental Health Nurse or Qualified Social Worker
- Experience of working within a community mental health team
- Experience or keen interest in working with homeless service users
