Job description

Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for Band 6 Senior Community RMN’s to fill a part time/full-time role in the Mental Health Team based in Norwich. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of working with Mental Health Services.


We are looking for a Band 6 Senior Community RMN’s to work for at least 3 months in Norwich working with the Mental Health Service.


The pay rate for this Band 6 Senior Community RMN’s role is up to £24 (umbrella rate) and is due to start as soon as possible.


We have a placement for a Band 6 Senior Community RMN with MH experience working within the City 3 Team at Julian Hospital.


Start date - ASAP                 

Full time, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. Part time also considered.



Looking for Band 6 Professionally qualified and registered Nurses.


The ideal candidate will have a Nursing degree or equivalent; Mentoring / Mentorship (ENB988 or equivalent); Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team; familiar with risk assessment and its management; Able to demonstrate the ability to process, plan and delegate work; ability to identify and action change in health care need; satisfactory verbal and written English language skills; Up to date and evidence based knowledge of Person Centred Care; working knowledge / application of the Mental Health Act; be able and willing to undertake further training / development specific to the role; able to travel independently.


Day to day duties - To assist in the management and organisation of work as required. Provide planned nursing care and risk assessment / screening for patients within his or her  care plan. To be responsible for implementing first and / or urgent patient assessments. Provide ongoing evaluation of patients’ needs and identify suitability for potential discharge in  conjunction with the Senior Nurse, through caseload management and supervision. Initiate and attend patient centred reviews, case conferences and other meetings as required.
