Maxxima's Nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Senior Theatre Practitioner to fill a full time, Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm role in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of NHS theatre practices.

This NHS role would require you to maintain the confidentiality of information regarding children and families. You will provide risk assessments and treatments to the patients and liaise effectively with the multi-disciplinary team. You will organise your own workload and equipment required for complex clinical procedures. You will persuade patients and families to co-operate with treatment for their well-being, and effectively deal with anxious relatives. You will assist the theatre team in managing and developing the department.

The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Senior Theatre Practitioner role is £22 per hour (Umbrella) and is a full-time 5-month contract, due to start asap.

You must be a registered nurse with a valid NMC pin
You must have previous experience as within NHS theatre practices
You must have previous experience working within a multidisciplinary team
