Job description

Maxxima’s Nursing Team are currently recruiting for a Band 6, 7 or 8 Mental Health Practitioner to fill a full time role based in Peterborough. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of children and young people mental health.
 
You will be working as a part of the community CAMHS team and will consider band 6, 7 or 8 with relevant experience. You will be responsible for carrying out mental health assessment and treatment of children and young people with a mental health diagnosis. This will be working doing both face to face work & virtual assessments from home.
 
The pay rate for this mental health practitioner role is between £24.00 - £30.00 PH Umbrella (dependent on band). The role is starting ASAP, working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm initially for 3 months.

Requirements of this Band 6, 7 or 8 mental health practitioner vacancy:
  • You will be a registered mental health nurse with valid NMC pin
  • You must have experience working with children adolescent mental health
  • You will have experience carrying out mental health assessments and treatment
  • You must be experienced and confident doing both face to face and virtual assessments
