Maxxima's nursing team are current recruiting for a Band 6 Specialist Community Lead to fill a full-time and part time role in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of Specialist Community practices within the NHS.

In this NHS role, you will advise first-line HCP's regarding all aspects of Tissue Viability best practice in relation to their caseloads. You will holistically assess and manage patients with all types of tissue viability needs and plan care in conjunction with patients and caseload holders. Your role will be to assess and plan care for complex patients, including skin care, exercise, compression therapy and advanced wound therapies in order to support care close to home and avoid hospital admission where possible.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Specialist community lead role is £21-25.00 PH Umbrella. This is a Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00, Full time position staring ASAP for initially 3 months.

Requirements of this Band 6 Specialist Community Lead vacancy:

-You must be a registered nurse with valid NMC pin.
-You must have experience in tissue viability within the NHS.
-You must be able to use SystmOne.
-Car driver is preferable but not essential.
