Maxxima's nursing team are currently recruiting for two Band 6 Specialist School Nurses to fill a full-time role in Ealing, West London. The ideal candidates will have a significant understanding of school nursing and the practices within the NHS.

This NHS role will require you to plan and deliver care for children with profound, complex and multiple needs including significant physical care needs, you will work closely with parents/carers and education staff in the health care plan. You will be a part of the multidisciplinary team with the aim to meet all needs of the service users being children and young people and you must also deliver health education to special schools to support the public health programme.

This role will be Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, 37.5 hours a week with the start date ASAP.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Specialist School Nurse is £25.00 per hour Umbrella.

Requirements for this Band 6 Specialist School Nurse vacancy:
* You must be a registered general nurse or Registered sick children nurse with a valid NMC.
* You must have school nursing experience.
* Must have experience of working with children and young people with additional needs
* Must have the ability to mange day to day medical requirements e.g. gastrostomy, nasogastric, medication for children and young people with complex needs
