Maxxima's Nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Veterans RMN to fill a full-time, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm role in Reading. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of mental health care practices for veterans within the NHS.

In this NHS role you work with a specialist and dedicated NHS Transition, Intervention and Liaison Serviceservice for people who have served in the armed forces. The post includes the delivery of clinical appointments within a range of community venues across the area, as well as the initial triage of referrals as part of the Transition, Intervention and Liaison single point of access, liaising with referrers and other services and providing advice and support both to other members of the MVS and to other professionals working with veterans with mental health difficulties in relation to clinical management and safeguarding issues.

The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Veterans RMN job is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is a full time, 6 month contract, due to start asap.

* You must be a registered mental health nurse with a valid NMC pin
* You must have previously worked within the NHS
* You must have previous experience working with veterans
