Job description

Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for Band 7 CAMHS Practitioners to fill a full-time role in the Mental Health Team based in Swindon The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of working with Mental Health Services.
 
We are looking for a Band 7 CAMHS Practitioners to work for at least 3 months in Swindon for Oxford NHS T working within the Mental Health Service
 
This role is a Band 6 position and will pay up to £29 umbrella rate.
 
We are looking for a Band 7 Senior Mental Health Practitioner to work at Swindon Community CAMHS Marlborough House, Okus Road, Swindon SN1 4JS
ASAP start for 3 months initially
37.5 hours per week: Monday – Friday 9 -5 shifts – on site/face to face in Swindon
We will consider changing this to 4 long days.
The role has been described as follows:
To provide assessments and interventions to young people who present in crisis at the general hospital, alongside offering telephone support to professionals, carers, family and young people who are contacting the service in crisis.
To provide daily duty rota, complete risk assessments, care plans, clinical notes and crisis plans where needed.
Attend Multi agency meetings as and when required for the patents we support.
Provide specific interventions to young people accessing our service.
Contribute to the Initial assessments for children referred to CAMHS.
Provide consultation and advice to professionals.
The following skills have been specified: -
Ability to drive, experience of Community CAMHS or CAMHS in general.
Ability to undertake assessments of high-risk patients and routine patients
Ability to attend multi agency meetings
Ability to use Microsoft Teams.
