Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for Band 6 & 7 CAMHS Practitioners to fill a full-time role in the Mental Health Team based in Barking & Dagenham. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of working with Mental Health Services.
We are looking for a Band 6 & 7 CAMHS Practitioners to work for at least 3 months in Barking working within the Mental Health Service
This role is a Band 6 position and will pay up to £28 umbrella rate. , yjre Band 7 role will pay up to £32 (umbrella rate)
ROLE: Band 6 or Band 7 CAMHS Worker (ref B8) – x2 vacancies
Team Name: B&D CAMHS
Address: Child & Family Centre, 79 Axe Street, Barking, IG11
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities: To carry out triage for young people and children referred to CAMHS, and most be confident to carry out mental state examination during assessment. To provide leadership, and to promote initiative, creativity and motivation in CAMHS where appropriate. To be able to manage their own caseload.
Skills: The post holder will be a nurse with the appropriate professional or regulatory body (NMC). They will have clinical experience working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental difficulties, they will have significant experience of delivering clinically robust mental health assessments, care planning and risk. They will have substantial CAMHS/EWMHS clinical experience.
