Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for Band 7 Clinician (Social Worker or Mental Health Nurse) to join the CAMHS single point of access team in Oxfordshire.  The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of CAMHS and have worked in a single point of access team previously.
 
The service runs from 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday.  The hours would be full time though there is some flexibility. For instance, four long days per week instead of five days.
 
The role is telephone only, providing support, advice and triage to callers.
 
The pay rate for this Band 7 Clinician is £26.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is to start in late June 2020.
 
 Requirements of this Band 7 Clinician:
  • Professional qualification in mental health e.g. Occupational Therapy, Social Work or Mental Health Nursing (RMN) with current NMC/HCPC registration
  • Experience in children’s mental health and a clinical background- including in risk assessment
  • Recent experience working within a CAMHS service
  • Excellent telephone assessment skills
