Job description
Maxxima have recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Band 7 Lead Physiotherapist in Medical & Oncology, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Lincoln , which is easily accessible via public transport.
About the role:
As a Lead Physiotherapist, you will undertake a team leader role in planning, co-ordinating, managing, delivering and evaluating the medical and oncology therapy services within the hospital.

About the role:
As a Lead Physiotherapist, you will undertake a team leader role in planning, co-ordinating, managing, delivering and evaluating the medical and oncology therapy services within the hospital.

- Take a major role in advanced assessment and treatment of patients with medical and oncology conditions requiring rehabilitation with complex chronic or acute presentation and determine clinical diagnosis and physiotherapy treatment required
- Be an active member of the weekend and evening emergency on – call scheme
- Provide supervision, leadership, education, and appraisal of Band 5 & 6 Physiotherapists, Physiotherapy Assistants, and assessment of Physiotherapy Students to graduate level
- Provide and support with the delivery of Training to all Physiotherapy staff
- Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy Registration with HCPC
- Evidence of relevant post graduate courses/CPD
- Proven NHS experience including work at Band 6 levelExperience of Student supervision
- Knowledgeable, dedicated and vastly experienced Permanent Team with longstanding professional relationships with multiple clients
