Job description

Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for Band 7 Mental Health Practitioners to fill a full-time role in the Mental Health Team based in Ipswich. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of working with Mental Health Services.

We are looking for Band 7 Mental Health Practitioners to work for at least 3 months in Ipswich working within the IDT Older People Ipswich Team

The pay rate for this Band 7 Mental Health Practitioner’s role is up to £28 (umbrella rate) and is due to start as soon as possible.


Shift pattern: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. (Part-time considered)

Skills:
  • Assessment, interpersonal, risk management
                                                                                                      
  • Collaborative care planning skills and experience of applying Recovery Model.

  • Experience of conducting holistic risk assessments.

  • Experience of developing Safety Plans.

  • Understanding frailty and comorbidities in older adults.

  • Being able to work as a part of multi-disciplinary team and multi-agency team.

  • Able to effectively prioritise own workload and use team resources effectively.
