Maxxima are searching for a band 7 Occupational Therapist with a passion for rehabilitation, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. This is a permanent post with one of the largest community healthcare organisations in London and Hertfordshire. The post is predominantly based on a 22 bedded unit accepting adult clients with a variety of conditions/diagnoses. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Occupational Therapists across 2 rehab units. They will also be responsible for the everyday running of the units alongside the Band 7 Team Lead Physiotherapist and will be well supported by the Clinical Lead. This post will offer applicants an exciting and challenging opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients, engaging in comprehensive assessment, patient centred treatment and rehabilitation.

Requirements of the role
* Significant post graduate experience of multidisciplinary team work in an NHS environment
* Strong knowledge and expertise in working in adult/ older people's rehabilitation, neuro rehabilitation and musculoskeletal/orthopaedic services
* Experience of working in close collaboration with community services, social care colleagues and other voluntary sector organizations in order to deliver safe transition of care from the rehabilitation setting to discharge destination/home
* Experience in directly managing other members of therapy staff
* Experience in service development and in organizing and implementing training/teaching programmes for healthcare professionals and clients
