Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Older Adults Ward Manager to fill a full-time role in Stevenage. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of older adults ward management practices within the NHS.

In this NHS role you will hold 24 hour continuing responsibility to manage a 27 bedded ward for older persons with an organic mental illness. You will hold responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care needs, in consultation with a multi-professional team.

This is a full time, rota-based role. The contract is ongoing, due to start ASAP.

The pay rate for this Band 7 Older Adults Ward Manager is £29.00 per hour (Umbrella) for week days, £33.00 per hour (Umbrella) for Saturdays and nights, and £37.00 per hour (Umbrella) for Sundays and Bank holidays.

Requirements of this Band 7 Older Adults Ward Manager vacancy:
• All applications must be a registered mental health nurse with Valid NMC pin.
• You must have experience working as a ward manager, ideally within the NHS
• You must have experience working with older adults
