We are looking for a Band 7 Paediatric Diabetes Specialist Nurse to fill an exciting role in Peterborough. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of specialist paediatric diabetes nursing practices within the NHS.

In this NHS role you will be responsible for the nursing care of children and young people with diabetes within the community and secondary care. You will provide specialist nursing expertise, knowledge and skills enabling seamless care and maximising opportunities for children, young people and their families in the management of diabetes. You will ensure excellent communication between medical, dietetic, psychological, education and nursing staff. You will work as a key member of the paediatric diabetes multidisciplinary team as well as the emergency out of hours on call rota.

The pay rate for this locum Band 7 Paediatric Diabetes Specialist Nurse job is £27 per hour (Umbrella) and is a part-time/full-time, 2-month contract, due to start asap.

Requirements and details of this Band 7 Paediatric Diabetes Specialist Nurse vacancy:
* You must be a registered general nurse with a valid NMC pin
* You must have previous experience conducting nurse led diabetes clinics
* You must have previous NHS experience
* You must have previous experience working with children
