Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking for a Band 7 Ward Sister fill a full-time role in Wimbledon, South West London . The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge and skills as a ward sister.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to join a multidisciplinary inpatient rehabilitation unit that has excellent patient outcomes. Merton bed base rehabilitation unit is for adult patients who require a period of physical rehabilitation following acute hospital admission.
We are looking for a forward thinking nurse who is a role model and will be able to inspire and motivate a team and they will need the experience and clinical skills to lead and support a team alongside the ward Matron.
This role will be Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00, 37.5 hours a week.
The pay rate for this locum Band 7 Ward Sister job is £30.00 per hour (Umbrella) due to start ASAP.
Requirements of the Band 7 Ward Sister role:
  • You must be a Registered General Nurse with a vailed NMC Pin.
  • You must have experience as a ward sister or a senior nurse in either the acute or community environment.
  • You must have good clinical skills.
  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience of working on a rehabilitation unit.
  • Experience of discharge planning.
  • Experience in training and developing junior staff.
  • Experience undertaking 1-1s,  appraisals and all aspects of staff management
  • Experience of Allocate – electronic rostering
  • Knowledge of DATIX and investigation of incidents
