Maxxima has a fantastic opportunity for a Band 8a Medicines Optimisation Pharmacist to fill a full-time locum role with our CSU client based in the Norfolk and Waveney area.
The post holder will drive the medicines optimisation strategy for a locality within the CSU, supporting and ensuring alignment across the system through the implementation of local policies and effective engagement.
The role is available to start as soon as possible with the contract length expected to be between 3 - 6 months. The starting pay rate for this locum role is between £30.00 - £34.00 p/h (umbrella equivalent), depending on experience.
Essential Qualifications:
* GPhc registered Pharmacist
Essential Experience:
* 3 years Primary Care and or Community Pharmacy
* Knowledge of Prescribing guidelines, MHRA, NICE through CPD or equivalent
* Working with GPs and other Healthcare professionals
* Review prescribing data
* Experience of project management and or QIPP
* Excellent communication skills -verbal and written
Essential Requirements:
* Must be able to travel between sites
* Must have their own form of transport
* Good commnication and network & presentation skills
* Must be well organised and able to work to deadlines
* Report writing using common computer software, specifically the core functions of Microsoft Word and Excel
