Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for Band 8a Team Manager – Mental Health to fill a full-time role in the Mental Health Team based in Hillingdon . The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of working with Mental Health Services.


We are looking for a Band 8a Team Manager – Mental Health  to work for at least 3 months at CNWL NHS Trust, working with the Mental Health Service


This role will be full time, 37 hours per week working Monday – Friday.


The pay rate for this Band 8a Team Manager – Mental Health role is up to £36 (umbrella rate) and is due to start as soon as possible.

Job Description - Position and Skills Required (e.g. JD/PS): A Band 8a Mental Health professional to provide a core element of the service for children and adolescents with mental health issues. He or she will play an active role in the daily operational management of the team. What they will be offering? (full time person) The role will include the following: Supervision and Management Experience of operationally managing or coordinating a team of clinicians Leadership Demonstrates strong leadership skill and qualities and ability to support others through periods of change Data management and service development Able to use data to identify strengths and poor performance and effectively promote services and service improvement Partnership Building Ability to form strong alliances and working relationships with social care, education, criminal justice and voluntary and community sector support services Bridging Early Intervention and Core CAMHS services Ability to bridge the gap between core and early intervention CAMHS services and support streamlined step up/step down support for children, young people and their families What they would receive as support Clinical Supervision will be provided via the local supervision structure (frequency will be agreed based on experience). • This role is fully supported by the Clinical Leads and Professional Heads as well as members of SMT (Deputy Director, Service Director and other peers) available to provide advice and support about operational management of the team. • Receive induction by Shadowing staff first week • Receive clinical supervision and line management supervision covering Key Performance Indicators and CQUIN targets – monthly from Service Manager
