Maxxima’s Social Work team are currently recruiting for BIA Trained Qualified Social Workers to fill job roles in Sefton, Merseyside
The roles will be based within an Adults Local Authority Team, who are looking for BIA Trained Qualified Social Workers to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis.
The pay rate for this role is Negotiable per hour, and the role will initially be a three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.
We are looking for experienced Adult Social Workers with experience of working in a busy Statutory service
Required for Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards team. Experienced practitioner with considerable experience in the field expected to undertake complex cases including assessment and management of risks. Recognised by peers as a source of reliable knowledge and expertise demonstrating critical knowledge of the range of theories and models for social work intervention. Expected to oversee the teaching and assessment of social work students carrying out practice learning placements as required. Required to give evidence in court in relation to care proceedings. Must be BIA trained


Summary of Duties
Assessing mental health referrals into Secondary MH Care. Predominantly by telephone, determining MH needs, risks and Urgency of response. Delivering safe and effective services. Developing clear outcomes following triage and undertaking risk screening to agree and determine level of service to be offered to service user and carer enquiries. To provide effective advice and guidance to meet needs of service user and or professional with follow up calls, in accordance with Recovery Wellbeing principlesMaxxima Benefits:
