Specialist services are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and experienced - HPC registered Biomedical Scientist to work in the Specialist Services Lab The post  is a Band 6 role. The role will be based in the Biochemistry component of Specialist Services, this includes Metabolics, Toxicology (drugs of abuse), Immunosuppressant Drug monitoring, Trace metals, Biochemical Genetics and the Newborn screening section, therefore experience in these areas would be advantageous.
The role involves working as part of small teams, this is an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills, knowledge and experience within a specialised service area. Duties will include routine operation of HPLC, IEF, TMS, ICPMS, GCMS and other aspects of laboratory analysis, maintenance and trouble shooting of the Laboratory instrumentation, technical validation and clinical authorisation of the results.
