Requirements and details of these QSW vacancies:

You will need to be an experienced Social Worker with substantial post qualified expertise

Our Offer to Agency SWs

We recognise the important part agency social workers play in our workforce and the professional expertise they provide. We therefore wish to ensure we have the commitment of our staff to work with us as part of our improvement journey.

Rate
Our rate of pay to social workers is capped within our region and we intend to honour this. We will however be happy to negotiate a very competitive rate per social worker of up to £35 an hour (ltd).
Expenses
We understand that sometimes the geographical location of Gloucestershire can be a challenge and it is necessary for staff to either stay overnight or travel a long distance. This can have a financial impact on candidates and discourage them from looking further afield. At Gloucestershire we recognise this and are prepared to offer the following expenses for an initial 3 month period, to note this does not impact on the role being inside IR35. The total allowance of mileage and/or accommodation is £100 a week based on the candidate working a full week.
Accommodation
In Gloucestershire overnight accommodation can be found for just under £50 a night, in recognition of this we are prepared to make a contribution of £25 a night (up to £100 a week). This is agreed per candidate as part of the offer process and has T&C attached.
Due to the increased cost of living in certain localities we are offering a contribution of (up to £150 a week, £37.50 a night) for Social Workers working in our Stroud and Cirencester localities.
Mileage
For those who are driving each day from further afield we have agreed that if candidates are travelling over 60 miles a day (round trip) then we will contribute 20p a mile for every mile over the initial 60 miles. For example if the round trip is 100 miles a day then we will contribute towards 40 miles x 20p = £8 a day, £40 a week.
