Maxxima have recently partnered with  one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Contact Lens Fitter/Optician, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post will be based in Christchurch, Poole which is easily accessible via public transport.

About the role:
As a Contact Lens Fitter/Optician, you will deliver bespoke consultative support, catering to customers' prescription, style, and budgetary needs. The expert insight you'll provide will be just another reason why our customers come to us for their whole eye care journey.

Your main responsibilities as a Contact Lens Fitter/Optician:
  • Perform sight tests, offering the best clinical and technical advice
  • Consult with customers regarding their eye health/ providing expert guidance 
  • Assist the branch manager in tracking and monitoring branch performance
  • Ensure all equipment is correctly maintained and fit for purpose
What we are looking for in a Contact Lens Fitter/Optician:
  • A fully qualified Contact Lens Optician with strong communication skills
  • Be able to work with customers on a consultative basis
  • You must be GOC registered
