Maxxima have recently partnered with  one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Dispensing Optician, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post will be based in Andover. This is a Part Time position which will consist of 3 days a week, with the following rota: week 1- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, week 2- Monday, Tuesday, Saturday.

About the role:
As a Dispensing Optician, you will ensure that each store has adequate and correct stock whilst liaising with each customer on a one to one basis regarding their latest prescription.

Your main responsibilities as a Dispensing Optician:
  • Dispensing spectacles to current prescriptions
  • Ensure that stock is maintained and accurate against purchase orders
  • Assist the Branch Manager in tracking and monitoring branch performance
  • Work with customers on a consultative basis regarding the available stock
  • Adjust spectacles as per customer requirements
  • Ensure all reminders are followed up, ensuring all parties are kept up to date

  • This is an ideal position for a fully qualified Dispensing Optician with strong communication skills, searching for a brand that values quality over quantity

  • Must be registered with the GOC
