The Speech Therapy team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a Band 8a Speech and Language Therapist in Carlisle. The successful candidate will be working full-time hours across Monday to Friday. We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to provide professional leadership across the IHCS. Previous experience of working within the NHS is desirable for this role.

Position: Speech and Language Therapist
Banding: 8a
Location: Carlisle
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Duration: 6 months contract


You will provide professional leadership across the IHCS. You will manage inpatient, outpatient, and community Speech and Language Therapy Services ensuring the robust clinical management of specialties within the service. You will be responsible for the long-term strategic planning and development of the Service and be required to meet System and National Requirements. 


Essential skills:

• HCPC Registered
• Relevant qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
