Maxxima are currently recruiting for a Lead Physiotherapist to fill a role with one of our private clients in Chiswick. They are well known across London for providing an excellent standard of physiotherapy, targeting the

The Role
You will take a leadership role in the running of the clinic and management of the therapy team at our new site
which is a centre of excellence for rehabilitation and prehab. You will be working with our multidisciplinary team,
providing expert physiotherapy treatment to clients and develop the team’s focus. You will build and maintain
external contacts to drive quality, efficiency and turnover for your clinic.

  • Develops and maintains external relationships with the consultant networks
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of clients to determine the condition of muscles, nerves or joints in need of treatment
  • Plan and implement therapy to improve condition and/or reduce pain and develop appropriate care plans
  • Explain the treatment required to the client
  • Offer specialist advice and education on how to avoid injury and promote the client’s future health and well being
  • Evaluate clinical practice through reflection, audit and outcome measures in order to continually improve the Physiotherapy service to clients
  • Performance reporting/accountability to Physio Director
  • Management and development of Physio teams, conducting appraisals and return to work interviews,
  • assisting with the recruitment process and providing support
  • Implement and monitor the circle of care through referrals to Pilates classes, PTs and massage therapists
  • Review/audit team’s records and caseload
  • Record client notes and reports and maintain the caseload
  • Report back, when required, to surgeons and doctors on progress and liaise with medical professionals with the ongoing treatment
  • Responsible for the organisation, prioritisation and planning of own caseload
  • To work effectively within our multidisciplinary team of instructors, personal Trainers, physios and sports massage therapists.
  • Lead in team meetings
  • Manage CPD events
  • Maintain an up to date and accurate portfolio of CPD

Additional Qualifications:

  • Post graduate qualification would be desirable
  • Business management/leadership qualification would be desirable but not essential

  • Extensive experience in private practice required
  • London based experience is a bonus
  • Links with London Orthopaedic network is a bonus


  • Excellent skills in assessment, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions
