Job description
Maxxima have recently partnered with one of the UK’s largest specialist provider of clinical and hospital care. We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Pharmacy Quality Assurance Technician who can provide overall support for the pharmaceutical service. This post is based in London, which is easily accessible via public transport.
About the role:
As a Lead Pharmacy Quality Assurance Technician, you will be working in our Pharmacy Department and report to the Quality, Safety and Production Services manager. You will ensure comprehensive quality systems are developed, implemented, monitored and actioned to provide a safe, high quality, and effective production service to patients. You will also ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and, where appropriate, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements.

What we are looking for in a Lead Pharmacy Quality Assurance Technician:
- The ability tp apply clinical reasoning skills to a range of patient requirements, possess knowledge of pharmacology and have experience in working with different teams, data analysis and electronic systems.
- A GPhC registered pharmacist
- The ability to critically analyse challenging situations, apply problem-solving skills, as well as be able to work in a pressurised environment with minimal supervision,
- Experience within a Hospital environment.
