Job description
Maxxima have recently partnered with a leading private hospital. We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Scrub Theatre Practitioner who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership for the service. This post is based in Manchester, which is easily accessible via public transport.
About the role:
As a Lead Scrub Practitioner, you will be working in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered, and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to help create and maintain a robust service whilst seamlessly incorporating other centre services.

About the role:

Your main responsibilities as a Lead Scrub Practitioner:
- To provide clinical leadership and support colleagues to plan, monitor and evaluate skilled and appropriate care for patients undergoing different forms of surgery to ensure the provision of evidence-based care
- To help coordinate the Theatre department in the absence of the Theatre Manager and Theatre coordinator
- To help the with the coordinating of General and ENT cases
- Assist coordinate with other specialities
- Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse qualified
- Current HCPC/NMC Registration
- Extensive experience in a vast range of specialities especially General, ENT and Orthopaedics
- Surgical First Assistant (preferable)
