Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Mental Health Social Worker fill a full-time role in Hounslow, London. The ideal candidates will have a significant understanding of mental health nursing within the NHS.

Your role will be to support the development of EIS services within the borough of Hounslow and to provide an intensive outreach service to young people and their families, who have experienced a first episode of any psychotic illness and to work with them over 3 years.

The Hounslow EIP Team is based at Lakeside Mental Health Unit – West Middlesex University Hospital and they provide care and treatment for children and adults living in the London boroughs of Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham and Hounslow, delivering services in the community as part of a wider mental health service.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Mental Health Social Worker role is £24.00 (umbrella), working full time over 5 days, and is to start as soon as possible.  

Requirements for this Mental Health Social Worker vacancy:
  • You must be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Previous experience of working within Early Intervention, either within the NHS or social services.
  • Experience working with Psychosis and other mental health.
