Job description

Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for anNHS Band 6 Social Worker to fill a full-time role in the Adults with Learning Disabilities Team based in Hull. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of working with Adults.

We are looking for a NHS Band 6 Social Worker to work for at least 3 months based at Humber NHS Trust, working with the Adults with Learning Disabilities Service

This role will be full time, 37.5 hours per week working Monday – Friday.

The pay rate for this NHS Band 6 Social Worker role is up to £24 (umbrella rate) and is due to start as soon as possible.

Requirements for this NHS Band 6 Social Worker position

  • Extensive experience of working with Adults with Learning Disabilities in a Statutory environment

  • You will need to have good experience of the Mental Capacity Act 2005

  • It is also essential to have working knowledge of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
