Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner – Welfare Setting - Peterborough

Maxxima Social WorkTeam is currently seeking for a Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to fill a full time, Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 role in Peterborough. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge and skills working within Mental Health and ideally Child and Adolescents Mental Health.

Young people placed here may have extensive histories of abuse and sexual exploitation, poor attachments, drug and alcohol misuse, mental health issues and self-harm.

In this NHS role you will be responsible for the provision of evidence based psychosocial interventions to Young People residing in secure welfare setting. You will have involvement in team meetings, reflective groups and staff training.

Acting as Lead Health Professional for YP residing in secure welfare setting including completion of reports, liaison with local authorities and other health providers.

The pay rate for this locum Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner job is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella). This role is to start as soon as possible.

Requirements of the Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner role:
• You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC pin or a Qualified Social Worker with SWE registration.
• You must have experience within CAMHS or working with young people
