Job description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to fill a 6 month fixed term locum contract in Gibraltar. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to travel and work abroad. We are looking for someone to start ASAP.

In this role you will be working autonomously in the community as a lead on screening programmes such as cervical screening. The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse and hold a non-medical prescribing qualification and have MSc/BSc Hons Degree in Nursing (Nurse Pracitioner pathway). Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory and headland, on Spain's south coast.

Our client is also offering rent FREE university accommodation during this period and will reimburse economy flights from the UK to Gibraltar return, together with transportation to and from the airport.

This is a full-time position.

The salary range for this role is £42’439 to £50’658 per annum (based on experience), plus allowances.

Requirements of the Nurse Practitioner role:
  • You must be a registered nurse with valid NMC pin
  • You must have experience working in the community on screening programmes
  • You must hold a non-medical prescribing qualification
  • You must MSc/BSc Hons Degree in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner pathway)
