Maxxima are searching for a Band 7 Occupational Therapist with acute oncology experience for a busy London Hospital. This is a permanent full time vacacny. Principle duties are as follows:

Principle Duties
  • To provide thorough assessment and treatment of patient conditions across a variety of specialities in the inpatient and outpatient setting, and to seek a second opinion in circumstances when diagnosis may be unclear.
  • To be the lead occupational therapist in the oncology setting, using highly specialist skills in the management of oncology patients.
  • To provide highly specialised occupational therapy treatment using evidence based practice and to be able to work autonomously in the delivery of oncology OT assessment and interventions.
  • To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of own work.
  • To maintain a high standard of professional and personal conduct, complying with the HCA code of conduct and the HCPC rules of professional conduct.

**The salary being offered is competitive and will be dependent upon skills and experience**

Requirements of the role
  • HCPC Registration
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Extensive experience in Oncology
  • To have worked a band 7 level in an acute oncology settin
