Job description
The Occupational Therapy team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Band 7 Occupational Therapist in South Wales. If successful, you will be working full-time or part-time hours from Monday to Friday. Previous experience of working within the NHS is desirable for this role.

Location: Ysbyty Cwm Cynon
Hours: Full time or part time
Duration: 4 weeks initially
Essential criteria:
We are seeking a candidate with experience of working with children and young people with a range of moderate to complex additional needs, at a Band 7 level. This will include assessment, intervention planning, training/upskilling, providing intervention and discharging. We seek an OT who is able to efficiently complete and close episodes of care, manage their time effectively, and contribute to service development. A car driver is essential as work will involve visiting community sites, such as school and homes. Desirable criteria - Experience of specialist seating and upper limb splinting.
Essential skills:
HCPC registered
Experience of working within the NHS
Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy
